Thank you so much for checking out our wedding site, and for being part of our big day!  We are so happy and proud to call you our friends and family.

We actually carefully selected you to be on our guest list, as we wanted to share the day with the most special people in the world to us!  We cannot wait to see your beautiful faces in just a few short months.  This experience will be just the beginning of the next chapter of our lives. 

We created this site for multiple reasons. 

It is a place for us to share our LOVE story, our intentions for the wedding, and a place for you to RSVP (and much more)!

We have registered for a few items at www.myregistry.com, but mostly we have chosen to do a honeymoon registry, and it can be found on this site as well.  We listed items & cool activities we hope to enjoy during our honeymoon.    

Since we are already blessed with a home full of all the things we need, we decided to register for  only a few items we kinda want, while the remainder of our registry is toward the honeymoon of our dreams.

The theme of our wedding is "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE."

We hope that throughout our party, you will notice our conscious efforts to express our love-- to each other, to you, to our community and to our world.  It's sort of  shabby chic choice, if you will. 

During our ceremony, you will be welcomed with happy hearts and a tasty treat.  This is the day our families will join, and so we are asking our guests to choose a seat, and not a side.  

You will witness a shortened version of a Persian + American ceremony in one, where we will exchange our vows and make life long promises to always love each other.   

For the reception you will enter a space that was built in 1890,  rustic on the outside, and gorgeously decorated inside- featuring simple upcycled vases & certain elements of nature, to remind us to take care of our earth so it can take care of us.  

Semi formal attire with comfy shoes is encouraged.  Also, consider wearing a light sweater or layers, as November weather is sometimes very warm, and other times, slightly chilly.

In an effort to give back & make our day "green," we made some conscious choices while planning the wedding.  Here are some of them:  

- Purchased engagement ring from DoAmore (www.doamore.com) & encourage anyone who may be browsing to check them out!  Our ring has an aquamarine center stone instead of a diamond & is made of recycled platinum.   As a bonus, Camron made it a point to save up & sell recyclable materials until he had enough to buy the ring- just for the gesture! 

- Chose shoes for the bride and groom from www.TOMS.com- a company that gives a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair purchased, one for one!  We would LOVE for our guests to consider grabbing a pair & wearing them to the wedding for maximum comfort.  Check out www.toms.com and get $5 off when you enter promo code: SUMMERWEDDINGS

- Invitations are handmade by the bride with the help of some friends & the groom.  

- Address labels are made from 100% FSC Certified Post Consumer Content, as well as the packaging it came in.  The packaging was also processed chlorine free and with vegetable based ink.  

- Many decorations, gifts and favors are handmade by the bride, friends of the couple, or other artists from Etsy.com.

- Most food provided by our caterer is locally sourced, and vegetarian/vegan options will be plentiful.

- Bridal bouquets will be sourced from local vendors and put together by groom's sister-in-law.
